AI visibility for agencies: show clients whether AI assistants name them
Updated on 11 October 2026
More and more of your clients' customers ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity who to call. For an agency that looks after local businesses, that is a new question in the next client meeting: is my business named, and who is named instead? This guide shows how to make that measurable for several clients, and what the Nennquote Agency plan does for it, including what it does not do.
Why a single test is not enough
Assistant answers vary with wording, place, day and assistant. A single answer you show a client may come out differently next time. A share across several questions and several assistants, and the trend over weeks, is more reliable. How assistants weigh their sources is not public, so nobody can promise what a particular measure will do.
How to proceed for each client
- Write down five to ten questions per client that their customers could ask, with service and place, such as “Which electrician in Hamburg can you recommend?” or “Which dental practice in Zurich has good reviews?”. More in How to check whether AI assistants name your business.
- Do not ask with the business name. That only tests whether the assistant knows the name, not whether it recommends the business.
- Record the starting point before you change anything.
- Change the client's website, business profile and directory entries, see How to get recommended by ChatGPT.
- After a few weeks, measure again with the same questions and compare.
What the Agency plan offers
The Agency plan costs €149 a month and covers up to 25 businesses or client locations. For each business, the same applies as in the Small Business plan:
- An automatic scan every Monday, with 6 customer questions on each assistant (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity), in the language of the business's customers.
- The history of every scan, so you can see changes over weeks.
- After each scan an email with the share, the change from last week, the businesses named instead of your client, and three concrete tips.
- One dashboard for all businesses.
The Small Business plan at €29 a month covers one business. When you switch from Small Business, Paddle charges the difference for the rest of the month. Cancel monthly.
Passing reports on to clients
On the Agency plan you may pass the scan results and reports on to your clients and use them in your own reports and presentations. Say that the data comes from Nennquote. That is what the terms, section 8, say (in German); the wording there is what counts.
What the plan is not
- Not white-label: reports and dashboard carry the Nennquote name.
- No access for your clients: the email reports go to your account's email address, and you may not give third parties access to your account. You pass reports on yourself.
- No reselling of the service itself. Using the results in your consulting is allowed.
- No guaranteed placement. Nennquote shows what the assistants answered at the time of the scan and gives tips. Nobody can promise an improvement, including us.
