For hair salons

Does ChatGPT recommend your hair salon?

People looking for a new hairdresser also ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity. Nennquote asks those assistants typical customer questions about hairdressers in your town and shows whether your salon is named, and who is named instead.

“Which hairdresser in Berlin is good for balayage and has an appointment free soon?”

We ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity 3 typical customer questions each. Takes under a minute.

What customers ask

Examples of questions customers could ask an assistant. Nennquote asks ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity such questions for your trade and your town.

  • “Which hairdresser in Hamburg cuts curly hair well?”
  • “Where can I get a men's haircut at short notice in Leipzig?”
  • “Recommend a hairdresser in Vienna with good reviews for balayage.”
  • “Which barbershop in Zurich also does beard care?”

What can generally help hairdressers

General tips, no guarantee: how assistants weigh their sources is not public. Clear, consistent and up-to-date details help customers and machines alike.

  • Name each service, such as “balayage”, “men's cut” or “curly cut”, with its price, on the website and in the Google business profile, instead of just “hair”.
  • Offer the price list as text on the website, not only as an image or PDF, so it can be read.
  • Write the address, district, opening hours and phone number the same way everywhere: website, business profile and booking portals.
  • Link the booking clearly and, if it is true, say how soon appointments are possible.
  • Name the team and specialities (colour, curls, men's cuts), with photos of real work if the clients agree.
  • Ask clients kindly for a review after the appointment. Bought or fake reviews are risky, legally and for trust.

How to read the result

Single answers vary with wording, place and day. That is why the report shows your share across several questions and assistants, not a placement. Nobody can promise you a placement, including us.
